From the Artist Nature has always been a great source of joy for me.   My love of all types of birds was initially fostered by my Mother. Later in life,  I  lived "on the water," as they in say in southern Florida, for 16 years  where we had egrets and herons literally in our front  yard.   Today  I thoroughly enjoy  and encourage  nesting birds in  my sculpture garden  in Georgia. Birds will always be a spiritual and aesthetic link for me.  Some type of bird can almost always be found somewhere in my more complicated paintings.   The bird in Cara Studios logo evolves with the years.  It is now a Celtic bird design.  As I became involved in archaeology and mythology, the symbolic nature of birds became a fascination and additional inspiration for my art work.  My  newest, a 12 foot  triptych of a Celtic theme  has more than two hundred birds in the first panel.  I hope you find birds of interest to you in this portfolio.  Click  button for Celtic painting      Click images for enlargements.  Use back for return.   Thank You ,  Cara
