James F. Wubbena, Architect
James Wubbena is an extremely talented and creative residential designer who is presently employed with a noted architectural firm in Savannah. and has also been with noted firms in Atlanta and Macon.  He holds a Masters in Architecture degree from  Savannah College of Art and Design  with a Historic Preservation minor.

Jim has been designing homes as long as he can remember.  His interest in Historic Preservation stems from family. He  has always been involved in the restoration of family homes.  He renovated his own 1930's home.  A particularly interesting restoration project was that of a  a 1910 Carnegie Library building shown on this web site.
 
Jim's portfolio is impressive. He has designed  5000 square foot homes, cottages,  churches and commercial buildings.  He is the recipient of several awards;. His plan was recently chosen for, "Shannon Hill," a prominent project in Pittsburgh, Pa;  and has international designs to his credit. His designs are highly complimentary and uniquely integrated with Carol's work in design and adaptive reuse of older edifices.
