GALLERY TALK  with CARA, artist and poet

"One of  the most rewarding parts of this event is the time spent with the audience following the performance. I enjoy sharing my interpretation of the symbols and I learn  from the audience as well.  Audiences are very enthusiastic and forthcoming.  It is very enlightening for all."   Cara

Cara gives a gallery talk on opening evening on any one of her exhibits. Her most recent exhibit features the 14 foot painting "watching itself discover truth."  This expansive painting took several years to complete with drawings beginning as far back as 1991.   She will give an explanation of the many archetypes and symbols it contains and references to  mythology and study of ancient cultures..  You will be fascinated with the explanation  of the progression of this painting, and how the poetry and music evolved.   Cara believes in using art and study of the past as a process for  understanding oneself. She believes art is essential for our total well being.   She is often referred to as a Jungian artist.   Cara  is willing to share the evolution of herself through her painting and poetry during the gallery talk.
