First Floor Studio/Gallery

The old Carnegie Library in Barnesville, Georgia has been uniquely and carefully restored with an "aire" of gentility afforded the 1910 era. The main floor salon is graced with beautiful oak columns with three-foot oak entablature, leaded glass windows, hard wood floors and an unusual curved staircase. The great room that housed the library with its soaring twelve foot ceilings has been preserved in tact. Cara has kept the ambience of the library with many books and some of the original furnishings.   It is uniquely adapted to provide studio and gallery space,  meeting, exhibit and performance space.  Cara has established eclectic yet  elegant  and unique living quarters above her studio.
