Printmaking Materials
IF YOU CHOSE TO BRING YOUR OWN MATERIALS FOR THE FIRST CLASS:

1. Speedball Water Based Inks, Primary colors (red, blue, green, yellow) plus white &
black
2. Speedball Extender
3. Speedball Retarder
or
Acrylics Paints:
1. A thick brand of acrylic paint. Primary colors (red, blue, green, yellow) plus white & black
2. A heavy gel structure
3. A good retarding medium
In addition, you will need: 1. Printmaking paper
2.A soft rubber brayer, at least 6 " or 4"
3. Two small plexi glass plates cut to 5x7 and 9 x 12
4. China marker, black (it is nice to have a red as well)
Brayers and additional inks can be ordered from Cara Studios....................................................................................... Additional Classes will involve techniques of and use of oil based inks
