A Painterly approach to printmaking

 Monotype Workshop

The monotype is known as the most painterly method among printmaking techniques
yet the easiest to learn.  The initial process is executed by painting and manipulating inks
or paints on a smooth surface. The painting is quickly transferred to paper where it can be
further enhanced. The instructor covers history, basic techniques of printing and allows for
free studio time.  No experience needed  to produce results.
